Best Kratom Tea Brews
Brewing kratom as a tea is one of the best ways of ingesting Kratom. Even in the 19th century, kratom tea is used for its many medicinal properties. It is taken for digestive problems, deworming, and for its sedative effects.
Kratom Times meanwhile shared what it described as the best Kratom tea recipe that will ensure the full delivery of its potent effect. It explained that brewing it as a tea will be the best way to extract its herbal and medicinal effects.
“Contrary to what happens with opiates, whose alkaloids can be destroyed by heat, when kratom is infused with boiling or very hot water, its alkaloids (such as mitragynine, 7-OHM or mitraphylline) are fully extracted in the tea and the result is a shorter onset, longer lasting effects, and a more potent product. This happens because kratom is not an opiate and its alkaloids are not heat sensitive. Not only that, in fact, the processes for producing kratom extracts often includes boiling. Furthermore, kratom tea is gentler to your stomach.”

Using an extract is not recommended, as the hot water may break down some of the alkaloids, there’s no added benefit, and it’s more expensive. Boil 2-4 cups of water.
